Mitama Matsuri

Mitama Matsuri is one of Tokyo’s biggest Obon celebrations. 30,000 lanterns will light the area each night, and there will be parades and traditional dances each day.
Rey Camoy Exhibition

Rey Camoy was an artist that travelled the world extensively, creating masterful oil portraits of people he met. The Tokyo Station Gallery is commemorating the 30th anniversary of his death with an exhibition of 100 of his works: “His works were drawn as though sharpening the mind and body while expressing the loneliness and suffering inside himself by gazing at the darkness lurking in the depths of the human heart.” You have until next Monday to see these amazing pieces yourself.
Tokyo International Karaoke Meetup

Does Jurassic World have you excited for dinosaurs again? Get up close with over 200 fossils at the Mega-Dinosaur Exhibition. Over 200 fossils will be on display and the centerpiece will be the massive turiasaurus, one of the largest known dinosaurs. There will also be ancient whale fossils and mammoths on display.
Zombie Attack!

The undead hordes have descended upon Tokyo, and only you can stop them! This unique event will see the zombies armed with paint attempt to “infect” humans by smearing their white t-shirts. Get touched by a zombie, and you turn into a zombie too!

Summer festival season is officially under way! Audio will be located at Tokyo Bay’s Harumi Passenger Terminal, and feature a killer lineup of international EDM stars. French electro pioneer Vitalic will headline the all-day event with a live set, and be supported by Hook N’ Sling, Dave Aju, Howie B and Sebastian Leger. Local hero Ken Ishii will also be performing.

Dark synth duo Group A will record first live album release this Sunday at Soup. Group A has been getting international buzz for their visually stunning live shows, so Saturday will be a chance to be a part of what might become music history. Special guest include Electrosexual from Germany.
Yokohama Sparkling Twilight

Yokohama Sparkling Twilight is a massive celebration of Japan’s second largest city. Parades featuring shrines from all of Yokohama’s district, a special seaside restaurant with cuisine from the city’s top restaurants. There’s also a massive fireworks show included blinged-out led-lighted boats.
