Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School 10 Year Anniversary

Dr. Sketchy’s is an international alternative art event where burlesque models pose for art stars and sketching newbies alike with drinks and arty socializing. There are branches in over a hundred cities around the globe, from Akron to Zagreb. The Tokyo branch of Dr. Sketchy’s began in 2006 and this year celebrates its 10th anniversary. To commemorate the occasion, drawing events and exhibitions are being held in Harajuku on the weekend of April 22-24. There will be a mural painting at Design Festa Gallery on Saturday, a chance to sketch burlesque star Cherry Typhoon in Yoyogi Park on Sunday, and more.
