Martha Knauf

Martha grew up in small town Vermont and has since lived in Paris, San Francisco, and Saigon in a somewhat futile attempt to shed her rural roots. She moved to Japan with dreams of living inside a Murakami novel, and has found it’s nearly the same, with fewer talking cats. She likes having deep discussions about the intricacies of Japan, like which konbini is the best and what new organizational products Muji has in stock. She lives in Osaka with her somewhat insane cat Shino.
