The International Art Event Design Festa was created to provide a exhibition space that was open to anyone who wanted to exhibit their artwork. Serving as a platform for over 10,000 artists, designers, musicians and actors, the even has been held twice a year since its inception in 1994.

The event has grown tremendously in size since its original conception and now Design Festa is Tokyo’s largest art and design festival. Due to the overwhelming success of the festival, the organizers have created a spin off event specifically for students artists.

The Design Festa Gakuten Student Art Festival is open to any student currently enrolled in an educational institution, whether in Japan or abroad.

One of the challenges as a student artist is the opportunity to showcase your art, and the Design Festa Gakuten Student Art Festival is a great opportunity to not only showcase your artwork but meet other artists and industry leaders.
