Pecha Kucha
Pecha Kucha is a fast-paced presentation style that originated in Tokyo but has spread to over 700 cities worldwide. Each speaker only has time to show 20 slides for 20 seconds each, allowing for an array of different ideas to be shared in one night. This Wednesday’s Pecha Kucha will feature designer Ori Elisar, artist Franziska Furter, and Visible in Tokyo’s Akio Hayashi.

Tokyo Marathon 2016
The massive Tokyo Marathon is this weekend. 37,000 runners from across the world will be going 40 kilometers throughout the Tokyo area. The course starts from Shinjuku, goes down to Shinagawa, travels up to Asakusa, and finishes in Ariake. Check the race map for a good spot to cheer the runners on.
