Journey to the End of the Night Scavenger Hunt
Contestants must dash around the city and complete challenges at six checkpoints while evading pursuit. It is similar to the Japanese game onigokko, or a zombie version of a game of tag. The course, which begins at Kiyosumi Koen, will be approximately 8.6 km and may take 2 to 4 hours to complete.

Sound Screening
Sound Screening explores expansion of visual and auditory sensation. Philip Widmann presents his 3 films in person. He makes original worlds by experimental and documentary technique. The works include his latest film which has gotten a deep response all over the world. The film “Fictitious Force” means physical force which we can't feel from the outside of a system, it refers to impossibility of sharing experiences. Moreover, Shinkan Tamaki shows his new performance which develops optical experiments at hand, and biki & Satoshi Kanda will construct space by setting objects and phenomena.

Roppongi Crossing 2016: My Body, Your Voice
Staged by the Mori Art Museum triennially since 2004, “Roppongi Crossing” is a series designed to offer a comprehensive survey of the Japanese contemporary art scene. For the 5th edition, through the different methods of art production of the 20 artist groups selected by the curators from Japan, South Korea and Taiwan working together, the exhibition will examine a wide spectrum of Japanese contemporary art and contemplate the society and art of today.

Hi Leslie, we are coming to Tokyo for a visit from July 3rd thru 9th and we were wondering if there will be any lantern festivals or street festivals while we are there. All of the city website just say July – but no dates. Do you have any dates? Thanks in advance ~Linda
